Hello! March

I am glad we had wedding-planning-flurries in our lives in January because that whole month was so dark and cold with the inversion we never saw blue skies.
February was much nicer to us, temperatures above freezing during the day, and clear skies most days. We still couldn't go out much but at least when we did, it was beautiful.
Hey March, let's talk. I would really appreciate it if you melted off all our snow before April gets here with flowers. Sound good? Ok.

We hit the pool again yesterday. The first time we went it was Max, Jack, and I and we had a good time except it was a Saturday and PACKED. Jack got shoved down a slide pretty hard and that was it for him for the day. Then we went last weekend with Jackson and I wasn't feeling very good so I didn't get in. Well, Jackson wanted nothing to do with the water so he hung out with me on the sidelines. Yesterday was much more successful. Just Jackson and I, and it was "Toddler Time" at the pool so not so many people and no bullies. :) It was frustrating he didn't like the pool, he LOVED it last summer! This is the kid that literally jumped in the first day I ever brought him to the Logan pool. It felt like we were starting over from the beginning again. By the end of Toddler Time he seemed to have caught up though.
Lately Jackson hasn't been sleeping great or eating very well. When he does eat, he scarfs down fruit snacks, cherry tomatoes (I'm not complaining), goldfish, and bread. Last night he ate his dinner like a champ! I told him he could have more bread if he ate more of his dinner and he did just that and didn't whine at all! Then I told him if he finished his dinner he could have some frozen yogurt. Guess who got frozen yogurt for dessert!?
Jack and Jackson are becoming close friends. Whenever they are together it is so fun seeing the two of them play. Jack is the sweetest kid, and such a good big brother. He never complains about Jackson, he is always looking for new things to do with him. Max bought the boys a small basketball hoop to hang in their bedroom and both boys love it! Jackson has picked up on kicking and throwing balls (check out my FB videos).

Jackson's language still isn't great, but it is improving. I can tell he understands me, and he can make lots of different sounds, he is so close, we just need more practice. Although his tantrums are really improving. I think we started the Terrible-Twos have started early. :(
